Nudes and blushes. Innocent and yet sexy at the same time.
I love color-inspired photo essays. Habitually Chic has one of the best blogs dedicated to photo essays. Their essay on nudes is no exception. It's called Lighten Up - and it's about shedding the heaviness of winter color in clothing and lightening up your look. It has inspired this blog because nudes and blushes translate perfectly to interiors.
Take a look at these color-inspiration rooms. Do you see how sweet yet grown-up they are? Absolutely gorg!

Since we are talking about blushing, I just had to add two poems about the topic as well. I really liked these.
Blushing
by Nina Gaspari
Hear
My heart beating
Feel
Love that's nearing
Kiss
My soft lips and surrender
To a mythical state of bliss
Come
Closer to my body
Share
Your free aura with me
Touch
Every inch of me, slowly breathing
Like a delicate breeze
Try
Not to get burned by the fire
Fight
In order to control this savage desire
Stay
True to your lust,
Preserve
These actions to make me blush.
O Blush Not So!
by John Keats
by John Keats
O blush not so! O blush not so!
Or I shall think you knowing;
And if you smile the blushing while,
Then maidenheads are going.
There's a blush for want, and a blush for shan't,
And a blush for having done it;
There's a blush for thought, and a blush for nought,
And a blush for just begun it.
O sigh not so! O sigh not so!
For it sounds of Eve's sweet pippin;
By these loosen'd lips you have tasted the pips
And fought in an amorous nipping.
Will you play once more at nice-cut-core,
For it only will last our youth out,
And we have the prime of the kissing time,
We have not one sweet tooth out.
There's a sigh for aye, and a sigh for nay,
And a sigh for "I can't bear it!"
O what can be done, shall we stay or run?
O cut the sweet apple and share it!
Or I shall think you knowing;
And if you smile the blushing while,
Then maidenheads are going.
There's a blush for want, and a blush for shan't,
And a blush for having done it;
There's a blush for thought, and a blush for nought,
And a blush for just begun it.
O sigh not so! O sigh not so!
For it sounds of Eve's sweet pippin;
